Why Industrial Painting

Benefits of Protective Industrial Coatings

Industrial coatings provide a durable barrier against corrosion, chemicals, moisture, and wear, helping your assets perform longer in demanding environments.
Corrosion protection

The right coating system stops rust and oxidation before it damages your steel or concrete.

Chemical and abrasion resistance

Industrial coatings hold up against solvents, oils, acids, and constant physical wear.

Longer asset life

Properly coated structures and equipment last significantly longer and cost less to maintain.

Safer Workplace

Line markings, high-visibility coatings, and anti-slip finishes improve safety compliance on your site.

Easier Maintenance

Coated surfaces are easier to clean and inspect. Issues are easier to spot before they become expensive.

Reduced downtime

Durable protective coatings minimize surface deterioration and unexpected repairs, helping keep equipment and operations running smoothly.

Finishes

Protective Coating Systems & Specifications

We select coating systems based on your environment, substrate, and performance requirements. Common systems include:
High-build epoxy coatings

Two-part epoxy systems offering excellent adhesion, chemical resistance, and surface hardness.

Zinc-rich primers

Cathodic protection for steel in aggressive or outdoor environments.

Polyurethane topcoats

UV-stable, hard-wearing finish coats for external steel and exposed surfaces.

Chemical-resistant coatings

Specialist systems for tanks, bunds, and areas exposed to aggressive chemicals.

Our Industrial Painting Process

Our Industrial Painting Process

A proven step-by-step approach that delivers durable, high-performance coating systems built to last.
Site inspection and assessment

We visit your facility, assess the substrate condition, identify any corrosion or damage, and define the scope of work.

Surface preparation

This is the most important step. We abrasive blast, grind, or power-tool clean surfaces to the required cleanliness standard. Poor preparation causes coatings to fail; we do not cut corners here.

Priming

We apply the correct primer for your substrate and environment. Zinc-rich primers go on steel in corrosive conditions. Epoxy primers go on concrete floors and internal steel.

Intermediate and finish coats

We apply coating layers to the specified DFT (dry film thickness) using airless spray, brush, or roller, depending on the surface and access.

Inspection and handover

We check film thickness, adhesion, and coverage before signing off. You get a coating record with product datasheets and the applied system for your maintenance records.

Quality assurance testing

We conduct final quality checks, including DFT measurements, visual inspections, and adhesion testing where required, to verify compliance with project specifications.

Curing and final protection

We allow coatings to cure under the correct environmental conditions & protect freshly coated surfaces from contamination, & moisture to ensure maximum coating performance.

Site clean-up and demobilization

Once the coating system is complete, we remove equipment, clean the work area, and leave your site safe, tidy, and ready for operation.

We provide factory painting, warehouse painting, structural steel painting, anti-corrosion coatings, epoxy floor systems, intumescent coatings, and machinery coatings across Melbourne and Dandenong.

Industrial painting costs vary based on surface area, substrate condition, the coating system required, and access. We provide free on-site quotes. Most projects are priced per square metre after we inspect the site.

Industrial painting is the application of specialist protective coatings to structures, equipment, and facilities in industrial environments. It goes beyond standard paint; the coatings are engineered to resist corrosion, chemicals, heat, abrasion, and other industrial conditions.

With correct surface preparation and application, most industrial coating systems last 10 to 20 years. Exposure conditions, the coating system chosen, and maintenance all affect how long the coating performs.
